A Morning of Inspiration for Catholic Men

Saturday April 27, 2013 at St. Coleman’s Church at 105 Argyle Road, Ardmore, Pa 19003.

The theme is: The Prayer of Faith in the Year of Faith. (Please forward to others who may be interested)

Speaker is Devin Schadt, founder of St. Louis Creative; author of extraordinary new book: Joseph’s Way: The Call to Fatherly Greatness. Mr. Schadt is a husband and father of five children and the co-founder of The Fathers of St. Joseph: A Confraternity for Fathers in Davenport, Iowa.

Mr. Schadt will address some of our most important questions, as husbands, fathers and grandfathers, including:

  • What lessons can be drawn at the dawn of the 3rd Christian Millennium from the fatherhood of Abraham and St. Joseph?
  • What are the basic elements of an authentic prayer of faith for a husband and father and how are we called to live them?
  • What is the Divine intention for our marriages and what specific things must we do to ensure God’s favor?
  • What specifically does God expect from us as fathers?
  • What is the purpose and value of crisis and how are we called to respond?

Morning begins with Mass at 9:30; Mr. Schadt’s talk will immediately follow next door in the Regina Angelorum Academy basement. There will be a period for questions and discussion. Lunch will be served around noon. To cover costs we will ask for a $20 contribution. This is a blessed opportunity for us to commune with one another between annual retreats.

You are encoraged to invite other men to experience the brotherhood of the Knights of the Immaculate and to learn more about how you can be involved.

Please RSVP with an estimated number of guests who will accompany you. Please e-mail Tim Murnane Sr. at (267-934-6127 cell)

Hope to see you on April 27th.
