House Bill 1762

TODAY, you can have a pivotal role in protecting thousands of unborn babies, and women. HB 1762 is a bill currently working its way through our legislature, requiring any physician performing an abortion in Pennsylvania to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of the abortion.

Most abortionists are substandard outcasts, who have either lost their admitting privileges – as Kermit Gosnell had many years prior to being shut down, or, who simply cannot get them because their qualifications are inadequate. As a result, they often travel to other states to do their evil work. In Pennsylvania, nearly half of all abortions done each year are done by out-of-state abortionists, who do not have admitting privileges. Therefore, passage of this bill would dramatically reduce the number of abortions – as it raises the standard for care, and protects women.

Visits to the state legislators indicate that more than 150 – from both major parties – favor this bill, and most indicate a willingness to co-sponsor. But, they need to be reminded that we want them to co-sponsor this bill – not just vote for it. The formula listed has been effective in getting co-sponsors.

1. Cut and paste the info below onto an email.

2. In the subject line of your email, write: “I’m disappointed that your name does not appear as a co-sponsor for HB 1762″

3. Sign, and send to every state rep in your county (Contact info here: )

4. Share this technique with your own lists of contacts, and urge them to do the same

5. Thank your rep, if their name is listed as a co-sponsor.

We want thousands of these to get to every rep.

God bless you, and thank you,
Ted Meehan
