In mid-December 2012, Planned Parenthood opened an “office” in Upper Darby, pledging (as they did in both King of Prussia and West Chester), that they would not be performing abortions there.

A few years ago, Planned Parenthood opened an “office” in King of Prussia, also promising that they would not be providing abortions. In fact, their zoning permits specifically precluded them from doing so. Once the “office” was opened, they began committing abortions.

The township sued to force them to stop, and the legal proceedings went on for years – costing the township tens of thousands, and perhaps hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars. This is to say nothing of the babies who lost their lives, and the mothers who were wounded and left with holes in their hearts.

During one of the exchanges in the legal proceedings, a Planned Parenthood representative expressed shock that there was such controversy. “If Burger King moves into your township”, he said, “you understand that they will be making hamburgers. When Planned Parenthood moves in, you should understand that we are going to be performing abortions.”

It is critical that we alert the township officials AND our local pro-life movement, to remain vigilant and persistent in demanding very close scrutiny of the activities of this diabolical organization which is dedicated to destroying life in its most fragile form.
